South Orange County Community College District

The South Orange County Community College District covers nearly 400 square miles of Orange County and encompasses 26 cities and communities.

The district’s Board of Trustees approves funding and policy for ATEP, Irvine Valley College, and Saddleback College. Trustees must reside in one of seven districts and are elected from trustee districts. Ryan lives in District 6 and represents the needs of the 154,000 residents living in Great Park, Northwood, and Spectrum neighborhoods of Irvine along with portions of Laguna Woods, Portola Hills, and Aliso Viejo on the South Orange County Community College Board of Trustees.
